New South Wales netballer Michelle Cremer was the first entrant for the 17th Australian Masters Games and has secured Gold by registering during the Gold entry period.
Cremer’s team, the Central Coast Garnets from NSW, have been playing together for the last three years and they aren’t strangers to masters competition, most recently they competed in the Alice Springs Masters Games and are now ready to take on Adelaide.
“We are looking forward to some competitive netball against other players in our age group, and of course having some fun,” Cremer said.
The Australian Masters Games isn’t just about the sport though.
“I am looking forward to getting together with the girls and exploring. We have a few tours booked - Kangaroo Island, wine tours and more,” Cremer said.
“I am also looking forward to the opening and closing ceremonies, which are always spectacular and meeting the other competitors.”
Entries are open for most of the sports and they are off to a great start. The 17th edition of the Australian Masters Games is looking to be one of the best yet.
